THIS IS ONE OF FLEETWOOD MAC'S RAREST LPs
IT IS ONE OF THE RAREST & MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs ON THE BLUE HORIZON LABEL
WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS 1ST PRESSED IN MEGA RARE MONO!!!! AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!! WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED IN THE UK BACK IN LATE 1968, NEARLY EVERY 1ST PRESSING WAS MADE IN COMMON STEREO - MOST SHOPS DIDNT EVEN STOCK MONOS BY THIS POINT - AND IT WAS ONLY AVAILABLE BY 'SPECIAL ORDER' ONLY!
FINDING A 1ST PRESSING OF THIS INCREDIBLE LP IN MEGA RARE MONO IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE - AS BARELY ANY WERE EVER MADE!!!!
THIS LP IS MADE EVEN RARER STILL - AS IT IS FROM THE TRANSITION FROM THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS, WITH ULTRA RARE 'MACHINE STAMPED' A1/B1 MONO MATRIXES AND THE LATER FIRST PRESSINGS THAT HAD 'ETCHED' MONO MATRIXES INSTEAD! THERE ARENONLY A FEE OF RHESE KNOWN TO EXIST AND THEY TRULY ARE THE RAREST VERSION OF THIS RECORD EVER PRODUCED!!
This is the ORIGINAL Blue Horizon UK 1st Pressing from 1968...The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl!!!! The Cat. No is 7-63205 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Textured' Blue Horizon label (see picture)
There are spindle marks to the labels and there are quite a few little marks and minor hairline scratches to the vinyl; but it still plays really well with only a few clicks here and there and no jumping!!
Original first press poly lined inner sleeve is present!
Laminated Ernest j. Day & co ltd flip back gatefold sleeve is in great condition only a few signs of laminate creasing on the front and two lines on the back at two opposite corners.. Also visible on the back is a little bit of shelf wear from wear the vinyl has left a circular imprint..
Spine is very nice, a little bit of rounding either side from shelf wear but nothing major.. A little bit of a crease on one of the E's from Fleetwood.. Does not detract!
Overall this record is in really nice condition.. And for a record of this level of rarity you may never see another one listed for sale!!
