Description

Up for auction is an original pressing of the Fleetwood Mac album Rumours, originally released in the U.S. on Warner Bros. (BSK 3010) in 1977:
-Guaranteed original pressing, NOT reissue -Original "palm trees" Warner green labels -MASTERED BY CAPITOL stamped in deadwax (important!)
-Original textured cover -Original insert w/ lyrics -Still in opened factory shrink wrap -Two original hype stickers on shrink -Original and correct WB inner sleeve -NOT record club pressing (many on ebay are club pressings) -Vinyl comes in poly audiophile protective inner sleeve

Note: Many copies of Rumours sold as "original" in shrink wrap are actually cheap record club pressings.  This copy is the real deal with all the bells and whistles!
Condition: Cover looks great, still protected by original shrink wrap.  No significant signs of wear or age, no ring wear, no seam splits.  Perhaps just a hint of age along open right edge upper corner--not significant.  Corners are nice, sharp, one tiny bump upper right.  Shrink is intact, no tears, nice and clean.  Hype stickers have a bit of common age spotting--see photo).  Grammy hype sticker is beginning to lift off shrink but still intact.  Very nicely preserved original, hard to upgrade. Grade: Excellent (EX)
Vinyl is also very nice, still has its original glossy shine.  No obvious scratches or scuffs, just some faint, superficial signs of having been taken out of inner sleeve a few times.  Spindle holes are clean, no signs of wear.  Disc has maybe been played only once or twice previously but handled with care.  Sound quality is very nice. Grade: Excellent (EX)

Note: These vintage mid-1970s Warner Bros. pressings, even un-played ones, can have some faint pressing noise from the factory in the quiet passages.  If you want a perfectly quiet copy of Rumours, get a Japanese or MFSL pressing.
