Description
Original 1977 UK A3 B3 first edition copy of Fleetwood Mac - Rumours, a classic album which needs no introduction & belongs in everyone's vinyl collection! Released on the Warner Burbank label K56344, this is an album which is ageless, beautifully crafted and recorded and is still utterly captivating.
This album is still being pressed today, but please don't waste your money on a modern flat & digital compressed reissue, this is how it was meant to sound!
The record has been ultrasonically cleaned in our amazing Degritter & has come up spotlessly clean with glossy lustre. There is a trace hairline on Side 1, and a couple of wispy paper marks, nothing remotely feelable. Clean labels and spindle holes - graded VG+
Playtest reveals a warm, nostalgic and analogue sound, very wide and dynamic with great detail and depth. Totally immersive with wonderful separation - every instrument can be heard clearly in its own space. A masterpiece which has remained fresh, relevant and enchanting.
It plays through beautifully with no jumping or sticking. Some low background noise/crackle in places, typical of vintage vinyl, but no distraction, in fact it adds to the listening experience.
The outer sleeve is still in the original shrink wrap, solid, smooth & clean with a few marks near the exposed opening plus a date written in ink at the top RH corner. Beautiful crisp sharp spine.
No splits, stains, tears or tape.
The 4 page photo/lyric booklet is included.
The original paper inner sleeve is present - we have popped the record into a fresh poly lined inner to keep it pristine after cleaning - you will receive this also.
A lovely original copy of a classic album, fully cleaned & tested, ready to pop straight onto your turntable & enjoy for years to come.
*** The record will be sent separated out in a clear archival outer sleeve to prevent transit splits***
