Fleetwood Mac 'Then Play On' 1969 UK original album on the Reprise Tricolour label, catalogue number RSLP 9000 (stereo)
The numbers and letters stamped on the vinyl are:- Side One: RSLP 9000 A1-H 1 AK Side Two: RSLP 9000 B1-H 1 AK
This is a very heavy vinyl and it is not warped. Both sides of the record have some very light surface scratches, almost certainly caused by bag movement, but overall this record is in very nice condition indeed with a very impressive appearance. On Side One the only blemish I could hear were three pops on track 4 'When You Say' otherwise just the lightest surface sound on the quieter sections. On Side Two there are a few ticks (not many at all) on track 1 and two ticks at the start of the last track, but overall I would say there is almost no lessening of the sound quality and the audio is brilliant throughout. There are no sticks, no skips, no jumps.
The track titles can be seen on the label photographs. The labels have a few spindle lines, no writing, no damage.
The cover is a gatefold type, it does not have any coating or laminate. There are light surface creases, mainly at the corners, a few light surface scratches and indents, a slight wave in the top left corner, a faint blue smudge on the back which is small and on the grey so not easily noticeable, scuffing along the top and bottom seams and corners. The centre piece is in excellent condition.
The spine has a bit of rubbing at each end and a few scuffs down the edges, but it's in pretty good shape and it doesn't have any title or group name because there never was printed on this cover.
I think the inner sleeve is the original, it is plain cream paper with 'Made in England' and a patent number printed on it, a bit creased and it has a 6cm (approximately) split down one side, which could easily be repaired.
I have checked the Record Collector grading system and I would say that the cover is at least 'very good', the record is 'very good+' and the audio is almost entirely 'excellent'.
I have described this as carefully and honestly as possible, but it is a no return item so please bid accordingly.
It will be packed in a record mailing box (cruciform) with two pieces of card inside for further protection. .
