Description
Fleetwood Mac – Tusk Rhino Records Reissue | 2xLP | 180g Vinyl | Gatefold Sleeve | 2021 | Cat#: RCV1-257951
A landmark in rock history and a defiant departure from formula, Tusk is Fleetwood Mac’s sprawling double album that dared to follow Rumours with raw experimentation, emotional candor, and sonic eccentricity. Pressed on heavyweight 180g vinyl and housed in a deluxe gatefold sleeve, this Rhino reissue faithfully preserves the original 1979 vision—complete with Buckingham’s lo-fi quirks, Nicks’ ethereal melancholy, and McVie’s melodic grounding. From the haunting vulnerability of “Storms” to the tribal chaos of the title track, Tusk is a study in contrasts: lush harmonies vs. jagged edges, studio polish vs. tape hiss rebellion. This edition offers audiophile clarity while retaining the analogue warmth that collectors crave.
Highlights: • Includes the full 20-track sequence across two pristine LPs • Features standout cuts like “Sara,” “Sisters of the Moon,” and “Beautiful Child” • Mastered for vinyl with rich dynamic range and deep low-end presence • Gatefold artwork replicates the original design with archival detail
Condition: Vinyl: Mint Sleeve: Mint Includes original printed inner sleeves Mint
A must-have for Fleetwood Mac completists, post-punk historians, and anyone who appreciates the audacity of a band at the height of fame choosing art over formula. Tusk isn’t just a record—it’s a manifesto in wax.
