Description
Then Play On was Fleetwood Mac's third studio album to be released. This is the US version released in September of 1969. This version is considered somewhat rare because just two months later a revised copy was released omitting two songs from this version and adding Oh Well which had been released as a single. You can also tell which version this copy is by the two-tone Reprise label. I grade the record itself as very good plus. There are a few minor scratches and blemishes but it does play well. The record cover I grade at very good. The front cover looks real good but the back cover does show signs of disc wear. There are scuffs along the edges and corners and along the bottom is a slight one inch separation in the middle. A couple of very light pencil markings on the inside gatefold around two of the song numbers indicating the two songs that were omitted from the future version. The original inner sleeve has some creases and shows some signs of yellowing due to age and a few more pencil markings. Overall pretty good shape for a Rare 48 year old record.
