I ACCEPT PAYPAL ONLY.

I'm proud to say that I've outdone myself: an incredibly heavy listing this week! So please check my other auctions for more rare Funk, Disco, Soul, Jazz, French, Canadian LPs plus many amazing Boogie, Disco, Electro, Italo, and Rap 12"s. This is the listing you've been waiting for!!

FLOYD LAWSON AND THE HEART OF STONE - COMING OUT - PRIVATE LABEL (FLO-89). MEGARARE. SLEEVE: VG+ RECORD: VG (has some slight scratches, and the occasional surface noise but the good tunes play VG+) THIS RECORD, I NOW REALIZE, IS ONE OF THE RAREST CANADIAN FUNK LPS GOING. MUCH MORE LIMITED IN PRESSING THAN THE BILLY MARTIN AND CARLA WHITNEY LPS. I LIVE IN THE CITY THAT THIS LP WAS RECORDED (IT RECEIVED ONLY REGIONAL DISTRIBUTION, AND WHEN IT DOES POP UP, IT'S USUALLY IN THIS CITY) AND THIS IS ONLY THE SECOND COPY I'VE UNEARTHED IN A DECADE OF SOLID DIGGING. I TALKED TO THE SOUND ENGINEER WHO WORKED ON THIS LP AND HE COULDN'T EVEN REMEMBER RECORDING IT, BECAUSE, AS HE SAID, THEY PROBABLY RECORDED IT IN ONE DAY. WHICH MAKES SENSE, BECAUSE IT HAS THAT ORGANIC, RAW PRIVATE PRESS SOUND. MY EDUCATED GUESS IS THAT THERE THERE WERE LESS THAN 500 COPIES OF THIS LP PRESSED. KILLER VERSION OF KAY GEE ON HERE, WHICH WAS INCLUDED ON THE CANADIAN RACER FUNK COMPILATION. LOTS OF OTHER NICE MOMENTS, TOO. LISTEN TO THE SOUNDCLIP! (I only use the following grades: SEALED, NM, VG+, VG. Grading is visual only unless otherwise stated. I go by Goldmine standards and try to be conservative. I will play grade on certain items only - it is just impossible for me to play grade everything I post. In my terminolgy Scratches are feeler types and Scuffs are just cosmetic and inaudible. I only post original presssings unless otherwise stated!)

SHIPPING: North America: 1 LP = $8, 2 LPs = $11, 3 to 4 LPs = $15. International: 1 LP = $12, 2 Lps = $22, 3 to 4 Lps = $35 There is no insurance available for small parcels sent from here (Canada). This is the Canada Post legislation, not mine.

PAYPAL ONLY. Payment expected WITHIN 3 DAYS OF AUCTION CLOSE. PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU CAN NOT PROMPTLY PAY! I have sold to many satisfied collectors and I stand by my positive feedback with pride. However, if you are suspicious that someone is lifting your mail at your post office, and you have not received parcels you've ordered on a regular basis, please do not bid on this auction, as I will NOT be held responsible for any lost shipments. Also, please do not bid if you have a negative or a zero feedback. For the rest of you folks, HAPPY BIDDING!
