FONTANA TL5410: TUBBY HAYES ORCHESTRA '100% Proof'
UK jazz rarity from 1966, this album by the much-loved English player has him leading an exciting big band. Hayes, himself solos on Tenor sax, flute and vibraphone; others solists include: Ronnie Scott (ts); Ray Warliegh (as); Les Condon (tp); and the great rhythm section of Gordon beck (p), jeff Clyne (b0 and Ronnie Stephenson (d). This is an UK 1st Fontana mono pressing with black/silver printing and logo label in a flipback sleeve.

CONDITION/DESCRIPTION: The disc is EtoE+ (VG+toVG++) with some light to very light scratches/scuffs, visible under a bright 'grading' light. These have little affect on the playing. There is also a small amount of surface dirt. This disc should be cleaned. The cover is E (VG+), with slight surface rubbing/scratching and a small amount of surface dirt. There is some creasing/slight damage around the corners, particularly to the bottom right. Halfway up the right hand side, there is a very small horizontal tear. In the top left hand corner, there is an area of residue from the removal of a sticky label (see photo).
