Description
Another great old Julie London record, a classy selection of beautiful old standards. True to its title, this is a hushed, mood piece of a record. You envision her singing by herself in a smoky old cocktail lounge, surrounded by a few melancholy patrons nursing the last drinks of the evening. We especially love her versions of "Dream," "I Hadn't Anyone Till You," and "Here's That Rainy Day." This is a rare promo/audition record and a first pressing as well. Mono. On Liberty Records. Includes the original Liberty paper sleeve, also in great shape.
We play tested this in full. It played beautifully. It's clean and glossy, and the sound quality is clear and crisp. We heard maybe three-four pops over the course of the record. We grade it VG+. Jacket is also VG+, light wear overall but no stickers, no splits, no stains, no writing, no smells.
We send LPs via USPS media mail, very safely packed. We can send up to 5-6 albums in one box, at base $6 shipping price plus $1 for each additional disc. We play test most of our albums and our grading reflects that. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.
