Description

Forest: Forest (original 1969 UK Harvest stereo LP - SHVL 760). A rare original copy of this coveted classic acid-folk album - in fact the earliest possible pressing featuring 1G/1G mother stampers. A much sought after and quite brilliant sixties psych-folk LP.

The lovely Harvest labels show moderate spindle activity (but certainly no spindle wear) and the vinyl looks great in natural light while various light handling marks (nothing feelable) show up on the vinyl when examined under harsh halogen lighting, warranting a grading of VG. It plays beautifully.

The unlaminated gatefold sleeve is a very presentable VG- with general edgewear and some foxing near the top of the white inside gatefold.

MATRICES: Side One: SHVL 760 A-1G; Side Two: SHVL 760 B-1G.

MOTHER STAMPERS: Side One: 9-o-clock - 1, 3-o-clock - G; Side Two: 9-o-clock - 1; 3-o-clock - G (denoting the very first day of issue pressing).
