Description
FOUR BY
THE BEACH BOYS
If you couldn't afford the $3.98 for the album, perhaps the $1.98 Ep was better for your pocketbook. Record companies knew that while teenagers might not be able to afford the Lps, they could spring for the EPs, (twice the songs – twice the price!) and playing into that they released loads of 4-track EPs.
I’m not quite sure if these Capitol ‘Four By’ releases were considered EP’s or bonus singles, if they were priced the same as an EP or no but they’re pretty unusual. This one by the Beach Boys gives you the following tracks:
Little Honda
Wendy
Don’t Back Down
Hushabye
None of these tracks were available on other Beach Boys singles – only on this EP.
