Description

This is an authentic 1972 poster for David Bowie, part of the Ziggy Stardust tour produced to advertise a concert at the Plymouth Guildhall on the 30th April 1972, the gig was promoted by the Van Dike Club, Tickets 60p.

This original vintage poster is in excellent condition and measures approx 23 inches by 17 ½ inches - these posters were produced by my family in this size only, beware of other sellers offering later repro copies (hence described as MINT) in a larger or smaller size. This original 70's poster has never been out of the Van Dike family ownership until now!

This David Bowie poster was produced in limited numbers by the promoters (Greg & Peter Van Dike) and is a very rare vintage collectable - guaranteed authentic - not a repro. The poster and frame are both in excellent condition. Professionally framed at considerable expense.

This actual poster has been on display in the V&A Museum - David Bowie Exhibition recently.

Letter of Provenance is attached to back of the frame - supplied to me at the Time of Purchase from Julia Van Dike the Daughter of Peter Van Dike.
