Description

Original and extremely rare genuine 1978 Polydor promo poster for Siouxsie & The Banshees debut single ‘Hong Kong Garden’

Jill Mumford has confirmed that in 1978, this home made silk-screened poster was produced in a small run, (she thinks about 15 only!) to promote the debut single.

Phillip Sheffield was the silk-screen artist. The single Hong Kong Garden was the Banshees first release at Polydor Records where Jill worked as an Art Director – she designed the record sleeve along with the band.

This poster was also part of Toby Mott's 'Loud Flash' Punk poster exhibition.

Excellent condition throughout, and benefits from having been professionally framed. Overall size is – approx. 28“ inches x 24 “inches
