From my own vast private collection gathered over last 45+ years ...these mostly from 1973 - 1978 I had my own Record Store here in Northern California in the 1970's and 80's -and bringing in wonderfully vibrant and amazing Progressive Rock Imports was a top specialty and priority - I was (still am) so nuts about this music that I had 3 different evolving weekly Radio Programs dedicated to it over 20 years - and loved nothing more than turning folks on to these bands and immersing myself and my audience in these exotic sounds. Now it is finally time for me to pass them on - my hardest LPs to part with, some 8 boxes of which I shall be listing throughout this Spring. Many of the leading progenitors of the 1st progressive era, but quite a few more obscure but no less amazing artists of the period. . *Sadly I am NOT FAST at listing and can am lucky to get around 50 up at a time, but they will keep on coming (as I pause between series, to focus on top level packing and immediate shipping) so keep checking back.

Full gloss vinyl is extremely clean both sides with a couple of faint hairlines per side that are inaudible. LP plays NM throughout. Labels are super clean with no spindle marks.

COVER is VG+
Super clean, snapping bright cover is flat and straight edged with sharp corners all around with one corner crease, u.r., a few very mild edge creases and some age foxing. "Sound Guard" audiophile cleaning sticker on back. No wear, writing or soil. Seams and spine are 100% intact with no wear or splits.

Multi-instrumentalist and mastermind behind the unique Italian prog band Sensations' Fix, Franco Falsini composed this (his only) solo album in the wake of SF's legendary "Portable Madness" LP, and the result is, well, almost another SF album, just performed solo! ...a truly deep electronic all-instrumental album in the electronic krautrock vein of Allez-Teia period HELDON or early Ashra period MANUEL GÖTTSCHING; despite coming out of Italy, far from the defining works of the genre, but certainly no less essential. It is easily on a par with "Portable Madness" and the 1st Sensations' Fix LP "Fragments of Light". Far and away better than any music the band released later. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ . Falsini was a true master of creating atmosphere and a musical environment that simultaneously evokes a cocooned calm and intoxicated eeriness in the listener. The guy is a master behind both the guitar and the synths as well, which he uses to create musical landscapes that lurk in the background like silhouettes of massive, hulking mountains engulfed in early morning mist. This is music built on seductively hallucinogenic analog tonalities, textures, atmosphere and mood; mysterious, dark and floating, with processed guitar and those semi-tone riffs he loved to use. Buzzing walls of electronic humming and pulsing synths - overall becalmed, with subtle explosions of power emerging from the depths; slowly but ever-evolving cinematic ambient nirvana.
Handling guitars, synths and bass as well, Falsini seems so immersed in his own musical universe it really sounds like a full band but without any drums. Totally devoid of percussive elements, it nevertheless moves with an undeniable rhythm, never meandering or standing still on an incessant drone, it pulses, rumbles, ebbs and flows on its electronic tide of undulating analog currents.
Delayed, distorted electric guitar soloing floats through a narcotic haze of swelling, slowly pulsing, building and subsiding synths, keyboards, electronic effects and eerie cosmic moves ...with just the barest hint of danger and unease ...hypnotic and immersive;  -everything comes together with restraint, subtlety and endless beauty.
Falsini's guitar work here immediately reminds of Manuel Göttsching, when he went solo and submersed himself in chill-pill land. This album should definitely please fans of Ashra, Heldon, Pôle, Sensations Fix, and electronic, mesmeric Krautrock. With some of the same tasteful low-key drifting, processed electric guitar soloing as found on the Manuel Gottsching/Ashra albums `New Age of Earth' and `Blackouts'. Anyone who enjoys those albums will want to place this one alongside them.
The music Falsini has created here - though you can accurately carbon-date the effort by the half-life of its old-school analog equipment and production - is ageless, sounding not unlike a whispered secret half-heard in passing, almost insubstantial and yet oddly indelible forty years later.
Time holds no meaning, seconds stretch and blur to minutes, middle-eastern meditative scenes and alluring alien landscapes seep up from the subconscious, spilling over murmuring, submerged bass, roaming, camauflaged guitars and bubbling tendrils of electronic wisps to wrap around your world and hold you captive in its welcome embrace. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Originally created as the soundtrack to a never-released film about cocaine abuse, COLD NOSE (Naso Freddo) is spiritually linked  to Falsini's larger body of work within the Fix, but stands apart in its home-grown electronic minimalism.
