Original 1970 RTV label MONO pressing, cat. RT-105 - made in Italy.
RARE and amazing session from the elusive Firmamento publishing label RTV by Jazz maestro Franco Goldani who takes part in infamous Mario Molino's recordings, like GLI ANGELI DEL 2.000 OST or 'LOVE' D.LP Library, and the mind-melting Sandro Brugnolini's UNDERGROUND (vol.2) from this same label. Lively, moody and thematic Jazz Library jam that features the great Sal Genovese and Livio Cerveglieri on tenor sax, and Carlo Metallo (Modern Jazz Gang) on baritone sax backed by a great Jazz orchestra. Loads of groovy Jazz beats with a clear film-noir / Giallo movie inspiration performed by a traditional Big Band studio orchestra and interpreted with a distinctive spy/crime movie key. Includes the terrific beat groove "ON THE BRIDGES" with a superb Funky Jazz spy mood, the Armando Trovajoli-styled "CHICAGO HILLS", the driven Jazz-beat of "NUOVA SCOZIA" and the wonderful Giallo Jazz theme "INTERPOOL" with Psychedelic guitar.
