Description

Up for auction is an extremely rare and historical vinyl record of Frank Lloyd Wright lecturing at the University of Oklahoma on April 17, 1958. The record was purchased from the estate of a long time professor of architecture at the university. It offers an incredible glimpse into Wright's perspective of architecture, culture, and life at the time. The record came in a brown sleeve with no cover. As seen in the pictures, the side 1 label has a stain from moisture at some point. The record is glossy and plays with no skips, but a slight crackle throughout which never overpowers Wright's speaking. I would grade the overall condition of the record Very Good (VG). It will be shipped in a mobile fidelity sleeve (the original brown sleeve will also be included).
