This record is in very good condition. It has a few light spindle marks visible on the labels but there are no pen marks, scuffs or any other damage such as stains or fading. The centres are not loose or worn and overall the labels are clean, bright and in great condition.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are free from anything really serious or deep but there are lots of light surface lines and sleeve scuffs showing in normal light. These are a clear sign of use and age and although all light they all show clearly under bright light and in normal light. There is again nothing really deep however although there is a small white mark/spot or blemish in track 1 on side 2. So overall this vintage used record is not visually perfect with lots of light surface lines but it still has a nice lustre and free of really nasty marks or scratches.
I play tested the record and it played very well. It lays flat on the deck and upon playing there is little to no movement in the record arm. Side 1 plays very well with no serious issues such as sticks, clicks or skips and actually very nice audio throughout. There is the occasional light amount of surface noise and I also heard two sporadic pops but over it would grade much higher than VG audibly. Side plays in a similar fashion but does have three ticks audible in track 1 due to the small blemish mentioned above. There is also a hint more surface noise in this track due its mellow nature but it is not severe and overall side 2 also plays higher than the VG visual grade. Overall a very enjoyable play test with minimal amounts of interference and good quality audio throughout despite the low visual grading.
The front laminated sleeve is in very good condition. It has only very mild wear to the edges and corners and the writing along the spine is still all clearly legible. There are no splits anywhere and overall the sleeve still remains rock solid . There are no tears, scuffs or pen marks anywhere and only very faint ring marks. There is a touch of laminate bubbling and creasing to the front however and most noticeably some staining or discolour on the rear. So overall a tidy enough and strong sleeve but with the staining or discolouring to the rear as mentioned. Please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible on its condition.
It includes its original plain white inner which is in very good+ condition. This is strong and has no splits, tears or pen marks but has some creasing and some age related discolouring.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
