Description
It's Frank Zappa so expect things to get a bit weird, helped along with the presence of Captain Beefheart making incoherent vocal utterances on one track. Hot Rats is best described as Experimental Rock Jazz fusion, or so the critics tell us. I will simplify that to the ultimate theme music to a sixties L.S.D trip. This copy which I must say comes in might fine fettle, is a very early British press, and comes sporting mustard labels and has A1/B1 MATRIX numbers. There are some copys out there that have what's called tri colour Steamboat labels, that indicate a slightly earliest releases. Reprise started using this design in 1969 / 1970. Comes in engaging gatefold sleeve. A nice clean copy, to tick of your list.
