Description
A great opportunity to buy a RARE VINYL LP from the 1970's by Frank Zappa called "Hot Rats".
This is a U.K. pressing, though published in 1969, was not released until February 1970 on the Reprise label (RSLP 6356)(stereo) and has 6 tracks (see photos for track listings).
The matrix numbers in the dead wax are:- RSLP 6356 A1 (side one) and RSLP 6356 B1 (side two), which makes it a FIRST pressing.
The vinyl is in a clean and shiny EXCELLENT condition. I always examine and grade records under a bright table lamp and there are several light surface marks evident, but nothing at all serious. I have played the whole of both sides and they play fine and sound great.
The labels are clean and free from any writing, stickers or major defects. There are hardly any spindle marks noticeable on the labels.
The record is flat and has no warps of any description.
The record is housed within its original company inner sleeve in a VERY GOOD condition considering its age.
The MacNeill Press manufactured gatefold picture cover is in a VERY GOOD condition.The edges, corners and spine are still reasonably strong, with just light shelf wear at the corners and some light handling wear on parts of the opening edge. The printing on the spine is readable (see photo), though it is showing signs of wear towards the top and bottom of the spine. Inside the gatefold, the cover is clean and has remained well preserved.
Overall this is a highly collectable late 60's / early 70's Rock LP and should be of interest to avid collectors.
