FRANK ZAPPA'S 200 MOTELS
(UK UNITED ARTISTS, UDF 50003, 1971)
RARE ORIGINAL UK PRESSING OF FZ's ONLY ALBUM WHICH IS CURRENTLY OUT OF PRINT - THE LEGENDARY "200 MOTELS" SOUNDTRACK!!
THESE ARE FAIRLY COMMON - BUT NOT COMPLETE WITH THE BOOK, POSTER & PINK STICKER ON THE FRONT!! FINDING A COMPLETE UK PRESSED SET IS VERY DIFFICULT NOW AND I HAVE HAD THIS PARTICULAR EXAMPLE FOR MANY YEARS - IT IS IN LOVELY SHAPE TOO!!
THIS IS THE REAL DEAL - FROM A SERIOUS ZAPPA COLLECTION!!

SIDE 1 : UDF-5001-A1 stamped
SIDE 2 : UDF-5001-B1 stamped
SIDE 3 : UDF-5002-A1 stamped
SIDE 4 : UDF-5002-B1 stamped
Both discs are EX+ : no surface marks at all, this is by far the best pressing of this album I have ever come across - which has some very quiet orchestra passages - both discs play beautifully with very minimal surface noise, great sound!!
Gatefold sleeve is EX : this sleeve is very fragile and prone to wear and this is definitely one of the nicest examples I have seen, there is very light rubbing on the front and back but as you can see from the photos, they both still look great, the spine has minimal wear and is still fully legible and the edges have very light wear, no splits or tears, looks great!!
Pink sticker on gatefold sleeve is VG++ : it looks as though at some point somebody did try to remove it, the bottom is a little worn but it is all still in place and has not come unstuck, finding these stickers on the sleeve is very difficult too
Booklet is EX : very light handling creases, both staples are intact, no big creases or tears, nice shape!!
Poster is EX+ : no major creases, no splits, no tears, no pinholes, I can say I never had it on my wall and it looks as though the previous owner never did either, it has always sat neatly in the sleeve, the nicest I've seen!!
