Scarce old vintage vinyl pressing on the black & silver Verve label in thick gatefold cover...
Recorded in 1969, the Mothers Of Invention go crusin' with a rash of memorable melodies and madcap bent edges they became so famous for ...Highlights "Jelly Roll Gum Drop" and "Cheap Thrills" are fabulous infectious ditties with terrific lyrics ...there are 3 re-makes from the FREAK OUT! album that soar and swoon with flavorful melodies ...and upon further inspection one can see the Zappa mark in the clever musical construction and the, at times, intentionally dense lyrics. A must for the Zappa fan. The gatefold sleeve has the lyrics included kids, so you and your friends can sing along.

CONDITION: The gatefold cover: front side pretty clean, very small wear, even so, hard to see, so looks very collectible. Back cover has light partial shelf wear starting. The seams and everything else are very strong with no writing or bends...solid.
The vinyl is all glossy clean, "EX" (excellent) playing M- on side one, while side two has a couple faint soft scuffs you can not feel, VG++ playing M-
