PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY
This is a pristine copy of Zappa's 5th album, Ruben and The Jets.  Easily one of Zappa's most polarizing albums, Frank's Doo Wop album.  People either seem to love it, or hate it.  It wasn't a big seller in 1968, so there aren't a lot of clean originals pressings out there.  I have never seen one in this condition.  If you are one of the Zappa fans that love this album, and you've been holding out for an amazingly clean copy, you will NOT get a cleaner copy than this.  It's just beautiful.
THIS IS ONE OF THE EARLY ZAPPA ALBUMS WHERE THE MASTER TAPES WERE DAMAGED.  THE CD VERSION IS DRASTICALLY ALTERED WITH PARTS THAT WERE RE-RECORDED IN THE 1980'S.  THE ONLY WAS TO GET THIS IN IT'S ORIGINAL FORM IS BY BUYING THE ORIGINAL 1968 LP.
Vinyl is NM
This is my highest vinyl grade.  It looks nearly perfect, glossy, free of wear, and plays perfectly.  It is one of the cleanest 50 year old records that you will ever see (49 years old to be exact).
Cover is NM
This is my highest grade for a cover.  It looks like it just came off the press.  You'd never guess that this album is 48 years old.  It's glossy, and free of shelf wear.  Crisp edges, and vivid colors. Unbelievable condition!  Also includes original inner sleeve, which is in perfect condition.  Will ship in a high quality rice paper inner sleeve, to avoid paper scuffs in shipping.
PLAYTEST:  Play tested perfectly.  Super quiet vinyl. You'd never guess this is a 49 year old album!
