I have not sold on ebay for a couple of years.  My feedback was 100%, the vast majority of which was in buying/selling records.

MY PHILOSOPHY

Record Grading is a subjective endeavor!  Sellers tend to over-grade, buyers tend to under-grade.  Honesty, attention to detail and complete accuracy are the only ways to counteract this problem.

Visual Grading   under a bright light is absolutely necessary!  Any record looks near mint in the dark.

Play Grading      is everything.  I have had pristine looking records play crackly, and have had scratchy looking records play surprisingly cleanly.

Label

Descriptions       are a must.  It can be very frustrating to see a listing of a copy of (for example) Iron Butterfly’s In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida, that tells you nothing of the label.  Is it an original purple & brown label, a 2nd issue yellow ‘1841 Broadway’ address label, a 3rd issue yellow ‘Rockefeller Plaza’ address label, or an even later gray label?#!??

Sealed Records I will never knowingly sell a re-sealed record.  I have been burned in the past, and know the frustration.  However, once you buy a sealed record, and open it, I just cannot offer a refund if you don’t like what you got.  Unless I witness the opening, there is simply no way for me to know if what you send back is what I sent you.  If I have suspicions about a sealed record, I will either not sell it, or relate my suspicions in the listing.

Purchasing a record sight-unseen can be very rewarding, or can be very disappointing. 

My goal is very simple.  To have every buyer finish the deal happy!

Box Grade:                        NM                 The box still has the original shrink wrap.  (it opens like a drawer, and I only removed enough to pull out the inner portion).  There are no dents, splits or any other flaw on the box.

Cover Grade:                    NM                 All eight (8) covers are a strong near mint, with no tears, splits, bent corners or ring wear.

Vinyl – Visual Grade:    NM                 Under a bright light, all vinyl in this box set is near mint, with no flaws at all to speak of.  I give a personal guarantee that no record in this set was played more than 2 or 3 times and handled with the utmost care.

Vinyl – Play Grade:        NM                 All vinyl in this set will play as it did when it left the factory.

Label Grade:                    NM                 All labels on all vinyl in this set will show no flaws of any type.

Comments:                       This box set contains 8 LPs, and basically represents Frank’s later time with the Bizarre label as well as with the Discreet and Warner labels.  The albums included are:  Wake/Jawaka(1972), The Grand Wazoo (1972), Over-Nite Sensation (1973), Apostrophe(‘) (1974), Roxy & Elsewhere (1974), One Size Fits All (1975), Bongo Fury (1975) and Zoot Allures (1976).

                                      The set contains the glossy photo of ‘American artist: Donald Roller Wilson’ and another minor insert, both of which are in near mint condition.

                                                Overall, this box set is not much different than the day I received it as the original owner so many years ago.
