On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Frank Zappa & The Mothers Of Invention called "One Size Fits All" and is an ORIGINAL 1975 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Discreet label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF FRANK ZAPPA'S RAREST & MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1975 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED IN THE UK - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS, AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS AN ULTRA RARE 'TEST PRESSING' - AND ONLY 2 OR 3 COPIES WOULD HAVE EVER BEEN MADE LIKE THIS (IT COULD EVEN BE UNIQUE!)!!!! 

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN GREAT CONDITION - AND CLEARLY HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  THERE ARE ALSO A FEW DETAILS TO MENTION - AND THESE WILL BE FULLY OUTLINED BELOW!!!!  AND DONT FORGET JUST HOW RARE THIS LP REALLY IS - IN FACT, IT COULD EVEN BE UNIQUE, WITH THE CHANCES OF EVER FINDING ANOTHER ONE AGAIN VIRTUALLY ZERO!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1975 UK TEST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS 'TEST PRESS' DISCREET LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, 1ST PRESS PLAIN WHITE 'TEST PRESS' COVER, AND 1ST PRESS MAILER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Discreet UK 1st Pressing from 1975 and is in GREAT condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is K 59207 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Discreet Label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos!!!! 

TEST PRESSING DETAILS

As I do not have a standard 1st Pressing to compare this too - it may well have different mixes or track order.  However I cannot tell as I do not have a normal 1st Pressing.  But what I can do is supply ALL details on the run off grooves, and if these are different to normal 1st Pressings (no doubt Zappa fans will have one!) than the mix or track order will almost certainly be different!!!!  The matrix numbers are:- K 59207 A1 & K 59207 B1 (machine stamped).  The mother & stamper codes are 1/A 1/A (the earliest possible!) and there are NO other markings on the run off grooves AT ALL, and NO etchings!!!!  There appears to be 4 tracks on Side One & 5 tracks on Side 2 (using the gaps as a guide).  So I hope this helps!

LABELS

One label is blacked out, and the other label is white with 'up' written on it, along with other ink lines.

THE RECORD

The vinyl is in absolutely BRILLIANT condition!!!!   Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 MEGA light hairlines, NO scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL JUST PRESSED LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is also GREAT to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual!!!!  The record plays with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must MEGA STRICTLY grade Very Good++++ if not better - and is very VERY close to a grade above!!!!  BRILLIANT RECORD!!!! 

THE INNER

This record has plain inner in nice condition which looks original.

THE PLAIN WHITE TEST PRESS COVER

This is in BRILLIANT condition structurally - with NO splits, NO tears, NO rips, NO sticker marks, barely ANY corner wear, barely ANY creases AT ALL, only VERY slight foxing, NO edgewear, and NO yellowing!!!!  However as pictured, there is some wiriting on 1 side 'Franky Zappy B.M.F.' and on the other side is various pictures of Frank Zappa, the title of the LP 'One Size Fits All' and a drawing of someone smoking a rather large cigarette!  Actually quite fun to look at - and remember, this Test Pressing is probably UNIQUE, so it isnt as if you are going to get the chance to own another one anytime soon!!!!

THE MAILER

 Actually I am calling this a mailer - but it might equally be the kind of thick cardboard outer cover that record companies used to store their test pressings in!!!!  Especially as it has no address and has never been sealed.  So it clearly came direct from the factory like this!!!!  It is in VERY nice order - with only some wear to the top opening edge, and is in a plastic sleeve wear it has clearly been contained within for sometime!!!!  There are certainly NO splits or anything nasty like that!!!!  On the reverse of the mailer, there is a picture of a mushroom, a scroll and a spaceship.  On the front of the mailer someone clearly put in some effort here, as there is some rather striking artwork!!!!  It says 'Frank Zappa' at the top, a picture of Frank Zappa at the bottom, and a painted picture of a woman in the middle!!!!  Actually looks quite decent!!!!  And of course, as this Test Pressing is probably completely UNIQUE, it is hardly a big detraction!!!!

All in all a very VERY interesting item indeed!!!!  Quite possibly UNIQIUE, has barely been played, and certainly a must have for all Frank Zappa, or psychedelic fans out there!!!!  Also extremely rare indeed to find 100% complete - and clearly came directly from the factory in 1975!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
