You are bidding on the 3 LP box set of Frank Zappa's amazing guitar solos, Shut Up 'n Play Yer Guitar as described below and shown in the pictures above. (Please zoom on the pictures to confirm condition.)  Here are the official details:

Background Information
In my opinion (i.e., the opinion of someone who owns more than 64 Zappa CDs) this 3 LP box set is two things: 1) a masterpiece collection of rock-jazz improvisation delivered by a guitar virtuoso, and 2) a defining cornerstone of Zappa's work as an instrumentalist and "on-the-fly" composer. The range of musical styles and lightning-fast roller-coaster guitar riffs will challenge your brain to "keep up."
I bought this set in 1982 intending to use it solely as a "master" to record cassette tapes for my WalkMan (remember those?). I played it once, made my recordings, and then stored it carefully away. Years later, when I purchased a CD recorder, I carefully played these LPs one more time in order to make digital files and record them to CD. I am still using the MP3 versions of these files. So here's the deal: I treated this box set and the LPs inside it like fine crystal -- I handled them all with the utmost care. The LPs and the box, covers, etc. are definitely in NM+ condition... though some might say they are MINT!  I also saved (and you will receive if you purchase these) the original stickers that appeared on the shrink wrap (one red, one gold), as well as the purchase receipt (July 3, 1982).  
Here's a little understated info about the contents from Wikipedia's article titled "Shut Up 'n Play Yer Guitar:"
"The Shut Up 'n Play Yer Guitar series, consisting of [3 LPs] Shut Up 'n Play Yer Guitar, Shut Up 'n Play Yer Guitar Some More and Return of the Son of Shut Up 'n Play Yer Guitar, is the fifth, sixth and seventh solo live album by Frank Zappa....As the title implies, the album consists solely of instrumentals and improvised solos, largely performed on electric guitar."

====== RATINGS AND HOW I APPLIED THEM ========

Please note that I am not a record store or professional record dealer. I'm just a guy selling his vinyl collection!  However, I have done my best to adhere to these standard guidelines for the ratings displayed above: 
Grades for vinyl LPs:    M : new, un-played, perfect, usually sealed. NM: like new but possibly carefully played a limited amount of times. Should play near perfect with almost no noise or imperfections. May show very faint imperfections from paper scuffs or tiny needle marks. EX : as above with a few light needle marks, or a few light surface scuffs, and/or lightly audible marks. A very nice used record. VG+:  between VG and EX, no feelable scratches and will definitely play through with no skips or jumps.  VG : still showing gloss but lots of small scratches and scuffs or some light groove wear. A used/played record that should still play through without skips, but will have light surface noise throughout, pops, ticks, and maybe some light distortion/sibilance. I do not consider VG to be a complete junk grade. VG- to G : any record in less than VG condition that I feel is still worth offering due to it’s rarity.   Grades for covers:   M : perfect. no wear, square flat corners, solid seams, spine etc., Usually sealed NM : overall appearance of front and back near perfect but may have a very small problem such as a small corner ding/couple tiny spine chips, but nothing noticeable without close inspection. EX : as above, nice "un-handled" feel, but may have more spine wear, a bent or dinged corner or two, very light ring wear, but rarely any splits or tears. VG+:  Between VG and EX (usually closer to an EX grade), NO major seem splits over a an inch or two, No visible water damage.  Edge chipping and smaller splits possible, ring wear, and small name or writing possible but should be noted. VG: still has a nice overall appearance, but may have the following defects: seam splits, spine splits, small tears, ring wear, writing, stains, water damage, stickers etc. in various degrees. VG- to G : getting ugly, but for some reason still worth offering.
