Description
ARTIST: MOTHERS OF INVENTION W/FRANK ZAPPA
TITLE: WERE ONLY IN IT FOR THE MONEY
For your bidding pleasure from 1990 a reissued copy of Frank Zappas and the Mothers Of Invention there album Were Only In It For The Money which was a parody of the Beatles Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band Album which contained some biting commentary on what life was like back in 1967 and still hits home even today with songs like Who Needs The Peace Corps, Concentration Moon, Mom and Dad, Absolutely Free, Whats The Ugliest Part of Your Body, Lets Make The Water Turn Black, The Idiot Bastard Son, Lonely Little Girl and We Are The Mother People. Note this is also the uncensored version of this album that contains some material that had to be cleverly edited out back in 1967.
Note: When Frank Zappa went to reissue this album as part of a box set the original bass and drums tracks were lost forever and new bass and drum tracks had to be rerecorded, however this album is still worth getting and the music still sounds as goods as it did then.
