Frank Zappa: "Thing-Fish" (3 LPs in Box) 1984, USA/Barking Pumpkin SKCO-74201. All three discs are M-, they look unplayed! The outer box is in nice EX to M- shape, having a little bit of rubbing around the perimeter and a couple of tiny scuffs on the front panel. There are no splits on the box. he Libretto booklet insert is M-, the Old Masters Box One info booklet insert is M-, the three inner sleeves are almost perfect, the only flaw being small splits in one side of two of them... this obviously occurred in shipping. Also included is an extremely rare Thing-Fish booklet of some 20+ pages that is full-color and features nude photos of Missing Persons singer Dale Bozzio and her future husband Terry, acting out a portion of the Thing-Fish story. This booklet was included with a men's magazine in April, 1984 coinciding with the release of the album and is quite explicit. One of Zappa's most outlandish projects by all accounts; I would venture to guess it did not sell as well as he hoped. Copies are extremely uncommon in this condition, which looks like it's been in a plastic bag since 1984.

I ship all records in strong cardboard mailers with cardboard flats added to increase stability. The discs are always removed from the jackets to prevent seam splits, and all albums are dressed in plastic sleeves for travel. Please be aware that these supplies are expensive to purchase and may represent a small portion of my shipping charges. I pack/ship one day per week, usually it is Friday.

Most of my customers prefer Media Mail because it is very cheap. Please keep in mind that it's cheap because it is SLOW. I have had Media Mail boxes take two months to travel cross-country.

CANADA: If you are in Canada, I can send this 3 LP Box Set to you by 1st Class Airmail for $27.00. This service may or may not provide tracking. If you want online tracking, ask me about mailing options.

EVERYWHERE ELSE: If you are not in the USA or Canada,  I can send this 3 LP Box Set to you by 1st Class Airmail for $34.00. This service generally will not provide tracking. If you want online tracking, ask me about mailing options.
