Description
This is an original double album set by Frank Zappa called You Are What You Is on Barking Pumpkin Records PW2 37537 from 1981. I purchased a collection of Frank Zappa LPs around 1994 that were and still are in great condition, and this is one of the records from that collection. They were obviously played very seldom before I got them, and I played them twice. Once when I purchased them to record to cassette, and now to play grade them. They both play M- and sound great. The cover is very nice VG++. There is a slight bit of wear at the top center on both sides on the front and back. This is minor. There are also very small corner bends in the corner points at the top left and bottom right. See the last photo for a picture of one. The cover is autographed on the front by Ike Willis. Ike signed this for me on April 26, 2001 at the Aggie Theater in Fort Collins, CO. I will e-mail a photo of Ike and myself taken at this show to the buyer upon request to prove that I actually saw him. The inner sleeves have the lyrics on three sides. The fourth side advertises the Mail Order Only release of Frank's trilogy, Shut Up 'N Play Yer Guitar. The corner of this sleeve is a triangular shaped offer that you would cut out and send in along with payment for the set. That is missing from this sleeve (see photo) as someone obviously used it to order the set.
