Description

FRANKIE YANKOVIC - SUPER ULTRA RARE - 78 record on his own YANKEE label #422 .......condition is EXCELLENT+ label & shellac...does have a few rubs on inner empty erea of shellac & some faint lettering on one side of label.....over all has some spectacular shine on this one & with this being one of frankie's 1st out of cleveland ohio, it all add's up to ++++ across the board of grading !!! ...just beautiful !!! ...frankie was a 23 year old young man & wanted to record some songs on shellac so he went to columbia & some other known labels & they turned him down, so he started & funded these recording's on his own YANKEE label, selling them him self...he went on to the jolly label, before columbia picked him up, and the rest is history!! ......there were only 2 records made in late 1938 on the yankee label, this is one of them, his very first recording's .....and in this conditon, A KEEPER !!! ........thanks for reading, please see the pics for more details.....
