Description

This auction is for a rare UK original 7" pressing of The Frantic Elevators'  single of  "Holding Back the Years"  b/w Pistols in my brain in pic sleeve on No Waiting Records, August 1982.

Songs written, arranged and produced by Mick Hucknall & Moss

Recorded at  Hologram, Stockport, engineered by Tim Photos and artwork by Watty. Many thanks to Roger Eagle, Elliot Rashman, Steve Mardi, Richard watt and Steve Smethurst.

This is the original recording of Mick Hucknall singing in his band "The Frantic Elevators", before he had a massive hit years later in Simply Red with the same song.

Its a fantastic raw version that must be heard by any Mick Hucknall / Simply Red fan, and is an absolute must for any serious collectors.

It is now very rare and collectable.

The vinyl is in excellent condition, (it is either unplayed or hardly played) and the sleeve shows very slight wear, but generally is in excellent condition considering its age.
