Description

Ralph, U.S., 1980, with label sleeve.

EX/ M-
Just a few dots of cover wear, light ring arcs. Lp like new, barely played, if at all.

Brilliant breakthrough album by legendary avant garde HENRY COW, ART BEARS guitarist, fusing rock with ethnic folk, found sounds, tapes, and unusual instrumentation to create a very listenable album of "permanent wave." Joined by erstwhile collaborators from the Rock In Opposition scene, notably the groups AQSAK MABOUL and ZAMLA MAMMAZ MANNA, who accompany our guitar hero Mr. Frith for a side each. An indispensable album for its time.

Great photo on back cover of Fred at The Glass Pavilion, at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.
