Description
FRED & MARGARET PARTINGTON: Carols, Spirituals & Folk Song.
UK pressed ORIGINAL ISSUE vinyl album. From 1967 - Private Pressing by MJB Recording & Transcription Services. Matrix #s AD LP 114 & 115.
I have managed to find out nothing at all about this record. The title pretty well sums up what's on there. Male & female vocals accompanied by acoustic guitar.
I offer it hoping that someone might know something about it or the people, might want it & it may possibly just be one of a kind.
Grading: I try to grade conservatively and I don't grade anything as mint unless it's sealed. All faults will be described.
Cover: VG ish . Please see pictures. It's a wonder this survived in any shape at all. It's thick printed paper with a plain cardboard sleeve glued inside. Some creasing to edges. Small stain on rear
Record: VG-. There is a date of 1 - 2 - 67 on the label. There is no banding on either side. Although the songs are separate it's one long groove. There are some surface marks & worst of all a scratch on side 2 that causes a click for about 90 seconds - please bear this in mind & that's why it grades as it does. Would benefit from a clean but I'll leave that for the new owner.
Will be well packaged in cardboard mailer with stiffeners - package weight approx. 420g. Postage will be at cost. Any overcharged postage will be refunded. It will only be posted signed for - unless the buyer asks otherwise and accepts the associated risk of the item going missing in transit.
Any questions please ask, however: This is an auction - there is NO Buy It Now price.
