Description
FRED SKINNER -- Same -- hard to find, original mid-1960's (??) U.S. album, autographed on back cover. Way obscure private press LP of very good Blues-R&B-Boogie Piano numbers (vocals & instrumentals) with a wild, uptempo, Central Avenue juke joint vibe on tracks like "Roll 'Em Freddie," "Skinner's Boogie," "Boogie Shout" and "Little Rock Getaway." No date indicated on the record but early to mid 1960's seems a good guess, although the sound harkens back to the early 1950's. A very hard record to find -- I've never seen another copy. See photo for track list. Cover: VG+/VG++, light ring wear and wear at corners, light creasing along middle spine, light stains on back cover bottom edge. Record: VG+/VG++, several light surface marks, overall very clean, on Fre-Tone private label, U.S. press.
