Description
On offer here is the vinyl LP of Barcelona by Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe and it is is in excellent condition. On playback the audio quality is excellent. There is a little background crackle in the quieter sections but I have to say I was very impressed with the overall sound. It comes through crisp and clear and there are no skips or jumps and visually the vinyl is in exceptional condition with only a few minor hairlines more than likely caused by sleeve removal. The vinyl retains a fantastic glossy sheen and is definitely one of the best I have ever sold.
The gatefold cover in superb condition and is almost 'as new'. There is minimal wear and you have to look hard to find any defect! There is just minor wear on a couple of corners and a few faint 'scratch' marks on the reverse but many sellers would grade it as Mint. The front cover and the inside is in stunning condition and it also has a strong wide spine still.
Catalogue number POLH 44 / Matrix numbers A2/ B1
Play tested on my Technics SL-J110R turntable system.
The vinyl I would grade as Ex++
The gatefold cover is Near Mint
The lyric inner is Mint
The labels are Mint

ALL RECORDS ARE PROFESSIONALLY PACKED IN STRONG MAILERS WITH CARDBOARD STIFFENERS. THE RECORDS ARE ALSO REMOVED FROM THEIR SLEEVES TO AVOID CUTTING THROUGH THE COVER AND PUT INTO A SEPARATE SLEEVE, AND THEN PLACED INSIDE A PVC SLEEVE.
