This has a gatefold sleeve which is graded VG. There is a small tear on the back top-right corner (looks like a sticker removed, see pic) and some wear down one edge of the spine. It is in otherwise good condition.
The record is obviously played but has been very well looked after and is graded EX-. It has just a few faint brush marks under the trusty halogen light. No warps, scratches, scuffs or other sins. Labels are clean with light spindling. It still has the original South African EMI inner sleeve.
Monstrously rare and killer psych album from the legendary South African group which was prevented from reaching its potential by the restrictions brought upon SA by the apartheid regime. This LP has a much cleaner production sound than their previous release ("Astra" a copy of which I just happen to have also up for auction right now) and is considerably harder to find. The chances of another such copy turning up are approaching zero.

Grading: here is the system I use to grade vinyl, sleeves are graded separately using the same principles.
NEAR MINT, like new. No marks or faults of any kind. Records graded NEAR MINT look as they have never been played - but I don't know for sure. I don't use the grade MINT.
EX close to NEAR MINT condition, usually I use EX if there are one or two very light brush or paper marks visible under my halogen light or a spindle mark on a label, that's enough that I don't grade the record NEAR MINT. I don't use the grade EX+
EX- close to Excellent condition, just a few light brush/paper or spindle marks visible under a halogen light.
VG+ is the grade I give to a used but still very nice LP. Many records I buy described as EX I would grade as VG+. There may be a very light, but more significant mark on a VG+ record (though this would normally be mentioned along with the grade), generally this is a used record in very good condition, with light brush marks visble under the trusty halogen.
VG a fair amount of surface marks or scuffs but no scratches, maybe some noise apparent. An average grade.
VG- and below: I try to avoid selling records in such condition. When dealing with a rare specimen which falls into this category I prefer to avoid using a grade and simply describe the record as best I can; it avoids the risk of giving a false impression of the condition of the item.
