MINT.Brand new,unplayed.may or may not be sealed.unless new i won't grade here.
EXCELLENT.(EX).The track is in perfect playing condition,it has no lessening in sound quality,it has no ticks,clicks,knocks,skips,jumps and it does not stick.visually the track may or may not have some surface markings,light needle marks,sleeve withdrawel marks or fine hairlining,NONE of the markings will sound.Some of the records in this grade may be totally free of marking,but please don't expect it.
VERY GOOD (+).(VG+).The track plays through and remains in perfect playing condition, the 45 will have no lessening in sound quality, it has no ticks, clicks, knocks, skips, jumps and it does not stick, visually the track will have some surface markings, but they will not sound, the 45 may or may not have light surface noise.
VERY GOOD.(VG).The track will play through but may have minor faults, the odd click or tick or light surface noise or light crackle, the sound quality will remain strong and the record should still be in a very acceptable playing condition. The surface will show markings but will have no feelable scratches, the track will not skip, stick or jump.
GOOD.(G).The track will play through and will not stick, skip or jump, it may or may not have a few light clicks or ticks but will have surface noise or crackle and may have some distortion in places, records in this grade have been well played and will show many light surface marking but none should be feelable.The record should still give an enjoyable listen but it will not be perfect.
None of the above grades will stick, skip or jump.
