Description
These exemplary performances of Spanish orchestral music - and pieces by Ravel with a Spanish flavour - are given by Rafael Fruhbeck De Burgos who conducts the New Philharmonia Orchestra on this beautiful early stereo Decca LP.
Works on disc: El amor brujo (Falla); Intermezzo from 'Goyescas' (Granados); Pavane pour une infanted defunte; Alborada del Gracioso (Ravel).
Record details: Decca SXL 6287. Stereo. Wide band grooved label, 1st pressing.
Date of issue: 1967.
Condition of disc: A fine glossy disc in excellent condition that plays perfectly.
Condition of sleeve: Excellent. What a dramatic photograph on the cover. If Maestro De Burgos didn't have a baton, it would make a very good poster for a Dracula movie! The inner sleeve is in very good condition. The sleeve notes are by Robin Golding.
