Description

Below I have compiled a youtube video slideshow containing lots more pictures and each side of the record in audio. I have done some research into the records and I shall use a grading system according to Ebay's "Vinyl Grading Record Guide".

"MINT:  The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT:  The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD:  The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD:  The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR:  The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

POOR:  The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD:  The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler."

The LP is called All Will be Changed by a german rock band called Frumpy on vinyl with Blue Philips labels. The very good vinyl 12 inch isn't dirty or spoilt by fading but I can see light scratches, rubs and lines. The labels by Philips are blue and silver typing which are excellent and made in germany. I have created the video to show you what it's condition is like, it's great.
I shall list more interesting lp's over the next few weeks as they were left in our loft when we moved here. I converted the lp's into mp3's on a sony pslx300 usb turntable and a Canon G10 to take pictures so anyone can get a better idea. Please look and listen to the video as it has taken me some time to complete.

This is All Will be Changed by Frumpy, the 1970 LP with blue & silver stamped philips labels. They are excellent because there is little spoiling. The codes on the record by the edge of the label standout and have no scratches, they read; (side1) 10 AA 6305 067 1Y 320 and (side2) 10 AA 6305067 2Y//320.
The excellent labels are great with no bad marks or fading. The excellent pictured outer sleeve has still got the gimmick plastic inner cover with cracks to the borders in some parts of it. Any bits of noticeable wear are highlighted in the picture slideshow. Inner sleeve is excellent free of any general creasing and has no split seams and is in great condition. The very good vinyl lp is very shiny and quite a few light marks, rubs or scratches on both sides, it sounds awesome in most parts with abit of crackle, ticks and pops in parts aswell, these are heard mostly at the end of track 1 and the beginning of track 2 on side 1 but then fades out to be distant, it sometimes chooses to stick at this point i've heard. Please watch and listen to the video if you have the time, just to realise what the sound is like and to avoid any disappointment.  I know that I would like my records to get to me safely so i'll make sure they get to you in 1 piece as I will send them pressed in-between cardboard mail boards and then in a strong cardboard envelope.
