Description
Fucked Up - This Mother Forever 12" EP (Fucked Up Records FU-014)
Insanely limited 2016 gig only Fucked Up long EP/single, this record is tied and one of the bands two most limited and rare releases. The EP includes over 46 minutes of music (we used to call that an album, even if it only had 2 tracks) and includes a 22x33 inch 2 sided poster with lyrics on one side (writ large, literally) and art on the other. It is in an ink stamped cover. This was Fucked Up's release immediately prior to Jack White of The White Stripes/The Racontuers/Dead Weather released Fucked Up Live At Third Man on White's label of the same name.
LP is MINT to MINT- (NEVER PLAYED…this did not come sealed, this is a new copy)/Cover is MINT/22 inch X 33 inch (roughly) poster is MINT-.

The 30-minute B-side, "Our Own Blood," features Nunavut singer, Tanya Tagaq
Limited to 250 copies
"This Mother Forever" was released initially with hand stamped labels for one show with a subsequent batch of printed labeled copies sold on a brief US tour. By all appearances, given the cost per unit paid by the band for copies (according to their merch table person on that small tour) the band may have hand stamped initial test pressings and sold them at one show pending the arrival of the subsequent labeled copies (on-line comments from attendees of that first show where the hand stamped copies were sold seem to suggest the stock didn't last the duration of that first show). If this is the case, that would suggest that 250 (total) exist with a small number of those having stamped labels.
If there was a second printed labeled pressing, and the price per copy shelled out by the band as the cost of making each 12" copy is accurate (as quoted by the aforementioned merch person), than the additional labeled pressing was likely an additional 100 copies. The info received from her at the early shows on the tour (with the labeled copies) seemed to suggest that the whole of the printed label pressing were with her at the merch table at those tour dates and they totaled what appeared to be 2 boxes which would support about 100 labeled copies. All this is speculative based on best available information.
A quick note about international postage rates: In 2013 & again in 2016 the US Postal Service significantly raised the cost of shipping packages (to everywhere outside the US). With my shipping prices I try to do my best to reflect accurate shipping costs & packaging material (I do try to be responsible & recycle when I can). I know that international buyers have seen these greater costs in buying from the states and I want to apologize and simply state that the US Postal Service is struggling to break even in the wake of evaporating traditional mail traffic and that costs those who still mail packages.
