This VERY SPECIAL auction is for a fully autographed record album by Siouxsie And The Banshees entitled ‘Peepshow’.
FULLY SIGNED BY THE ENTIRE BAND...
This record was signed for me by the entire band at the time of its release in September 1988 at Virgin Megastore on Oxford Street London, on the corner of Oxford Street and Tottenham Court Road, where I worked at that time.
the album is a first pressing, signed immediately upon release and comes in original inner sleeve and on the Polydor label. This record is about to be re-released in November of this year and is also the subject of a 2018 book of the same name by Samantha Bennett.
The band came into the store for a special signing presentation upon the release of this widely acclaimed album. They signed it in silver, black and blue permanent markers, as can be seen clearly from the photos.
This is an extremely rare item to be signed by every member of the band in 1988, who were: Siouxsie Sioux, Budgie, Steve Severin, Martin McCarrick and Jon Klein.
The physical condition is excellent for a 30 year old item and the record plays through perfectly with no skips or jumps. It’s sounds fantastic!
