Description
Wilhelm Furtwangler ...
Beethoven: Symphony No.4 in B major, op.60 --- legendary recording with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra!
rare German very first press vinyl LP released in the 1950s on red/gold ELECTROLA / HIS MASTER'S VOICE label with catalognumber WALP 1059. Yes, this copy has the square [33] on the lower label rim with the following first edition matrixnumbers: 2XVH 39-1 and 2XVH40-1Collectors and audiophiles will know that later pressings came with a triangle 33 on the label. Don't miss this fantastic first pressing ... The original "Electrola Gesellschaft" foldout cover and vinyl in pristine NEARMINT condition with just some light marks - impossible to find in perfect mint condition even here in Germany, this is the best copy I have seen in many years. Highly acclaimed reference performance by Furtwangler conducting the Vienna Symphony Orchestra. See photos.
