Beethoven:  Symphony No.9 in D minor, op.125 - 4.Satz  

rare German first press vinyl LP released in the early 1950s on red/gold ELECTROLA / HIS MASTERS VOICE label with catalognumber WALPS 1508.  Collectors and audiophiles will know that this is a first press copy as it has the "SQUARE 33" on bottom label, plus this is the version with NO APPLAUSE at the end of the 4th set...  Foldout cover with Furtwangler's signature on the inside is NEARMINT and vinyl playgrades nearmint except for one small mark in the middle part that produces some soft tics... knowledgable collectors and audiophiles will know how difficult it is to find a perfect copy, even here in Germany. Don't miss this rare album feat. the famous 1951 reference performance with Furtwangler conducting the Bayreuth Festival Orchestra & Chorus featuring Elisabeth Schwarzkopf, Elisabeth Hongen, Hans Hopf, Otto Edelmann recorded with true audiophile soundquality... see photo.
