FUSION ORCHESTRA

SKELETON IN ARMOUR

UK Advance Copy Promo of this UK prog. album from 1973

EMI catalogue number: EMA 758

Matrix: YAX 4663-2; 4664-2

This highly sought after prog album, very rare to be found in this superb condition, is the debut, and the only, record from this hard working band. Featuring a very sexy young Jill Saward on vocals & flute, who later went on to enjoy a successful international career with Shakatak, Fusion Orchestra were contempories of Curved Air and Vinegar Joe as a niche of bands to feature 'rock chicks' as vocalists. Signed to EMI at the same time as Queen and Cockney Rebel they somehow managed to avoid fame and fortune, despite having a large following for their infamous, raunchy live gigs, featuring their particular form of manic jazz-rock prog. All the tracks are self penned and the album is now firmly established as a collectors item.

Postage is by recorded delivery, packed in professional record mailers with stiffeners.

On a personal note, I am British and having relocated to Greece I'm forced, reluctantly, to part with my vast record collection in order to finance our charity for stray animals (we feed and provide medicine to over sixty animals every day and need to raise money to keep going). Virtually all are UK issues, from the sixties onwards and many are genuine first pressings. Keep an eye out over the next few months as I'll be posting some great albums for sale.
