Description

Gianni Safred
    Futuribile
Music Scene TRF 946
Italian pressing

Scare original pressing on cult Italian Library Label.
Unreal electronics with brutal, hard-hitting drums, early Jazzanova style dub sounds, looped rhythm patterns and aggressive spacey funk. Safred's analogue synth sound was born in a little studio he created in Trieste in 1974 with help from a very impressive session drummer and fender bass player. JAZZ COMPUTER is one of the finest examples of the genre with endless funky drums / breaks and banks of far-out synthesisers. FUTURE CITY TRAFFIC is even more aggressive, killer techno a la Derrick May and years ahead of the game. MACHINES FOREVER is the track that pre-dates the early Jazzanova cum synthetic dub / jazz funk sound. There is lots more on here from the bouncy and cosmic groove of DISCO SATELLITE / the menacing soundscapes of ELECTRONIC BRAIN to the serene LAST RAIN.
