Faces: Ooh La La, LP, Warner Bros 1973, Promo copy, Santa Maria Pressing, BS 2665 on cover and label, A7 BS 2665 40314-1A etched in runout. I'm providing this so you can check my info on discogs or another site if you'd like to verify. You will get this exact album, as pictured. Because of the difficulty of accurately determining first pressings, I don’t list my albums as such, unless a verifiable source states that it is. From Discogs: Issued in the standard first-issue gimmick cover with animated front and gatefold rear, with black and neon pink WB "Promotional Copy Not For Sale" sticker affixed to front cover.
Album is flat and plays without skipping. There are a few scratches and smudges on both sides. None can be felt and don’t affect play. There’s still a lot of shine to the disk but it looks like it could use a better cleaning than I can provide. The labels state ”PROMOTION NOT FOR SALE”. Inner sleeve is in pretty bad shape. Bottom edge split halfway, one side split and has a few creases. It will ship in a new plastic sleeve so you might want to just swap it out. The cover is a hoot. You can move the mouth and eyes using tabs inside the front part. There is a large fold-out lyric sheet inside that area. The back is a gatefold that folds up. The cover is textured matte white so it is pretty dirty after all these years but all sides are intact. There is a promo sticker on the front and 4/9/73 written on it front and back
We’re selling our collection of LPs that we’ve bought over the years. They hadn’t been played for over 20 years so we cleaned and listened to each one to be sure there are no skips when playing on our turntable, an Audio-Technica AT-LP60X-GM. I didn’t make notes on each one as I listened to it as far as any clicks, pops, etc. but I got rid of several that had too much noise or any skips. If you want me to go back and play an album and let you know of any surface noise, clicks, etc., please contact me and I will give you a full rundown prior to purchase.
