Original His Master's Voice "Factory Sample" 12-inch stereo LP made in England: Gerry Mulligan Meets Johnny Hodges.
- This recording captures the remarkable collaboration of jazz saxophone artists Gerry Mulligan (baritone) and Johnny Hodges (alto), with Buddy Clark on bass, Mel Lewis on drums, and Claude Williamson on piano.
- It was released in 1961 on His Master's Voice/Verve Series/Number CSD 1371. Jacket notes are by Nat Hentoff.

- This is an original "Factory Sample. Not For Sale" record, made in England, with the rare green and gold label and the E.M.I. Records Limited inner sleeve advertising other "Outstanding H.M.V. LPs".
- Condition: The record and album jacket are in excellent condition. The LP has clearly been cared for and plays beautifully, with no skips or hiss. The inner sleeve is in fine shape, with one tiny closed tear near the upper edge and no marks or writing. Please see the scans and feel free to ask any questions.
