Description

Fairfield Sky - S/T USA OR Records LP

Notes from the cover text

Fairfield Sky: "The source of this music is a metal acetate manufactured in 1973 by the no-longer-in-existence Trident Studio in Great Britain which was issued in a generic orange Trident sleeve"

"Fairfield Sky is very much a magical blend of various late 60's flowerpop psychedelic influences"

"To date, only three copies of the acetate have surfaced-two in England (with the better copy selling for 2000 pounds) and one in the U.S., each now housed permanently in collections. That a recording of this merit can vanish without a trace makes us all wonder just what else might still be out there"
