Fairport Convention 1969 UNHALFBRICKING 1st Press A1 B1 Pink Island 1st Label

I bought this LP new in 1969 and am now selling it as my vinyl record collection has to go - not enough room to house it and I can't keep dragging it around when I move - it's too heavy!!

On the Island Records label - the original pink first pressing one, not the later pink one

Matrix numbers:      Side 1 - ILPS 9102 A1

THE COVER   is in reasonable condition. There is some wear on all the edges particularly the bottom where it has languished on the shelf for years.  That said it is still in a robust and usable condition.

The front:   is in VERY GOOD ++ condition with no ring wear, marks or scratches

The spine:   has got squashed from being sandwiched on the shelf between other records - please see the photos

The back:   is clean with some ringwear and rubbing on the black sections

THE VINYL:  very slight spindle marks on both sides which you can only see when you hold it against the light. I've played it all the way through on both sides and there are no jumps or sticking points, plays brilliantly and sounds great.  There are 2 clicks between Tracks 1 and 2 on Side One.  There are minor sleeve scuffs on both sides which do not affect the sound quality.

*****

If you live in the Canterbury/Herne Bay area you are welcome to collect or I could possibly deliver to a convenient venue.

POSTAGE:  I do not charge for packing materials, time spent packing or walking/driving to the Post Office!  Ebay are now taking a postage fee of 10% of whatever a seller charges.  (Thanks to all the greedy sellers who were deliberately making money on the postage they were charging buyers.)

UK:   I send items with a value of up to £45.00 by 2nd class Recorded/Signed For to UK addresses.   I will only post an item if it has the correct amount of insurance. This means that the actual postage could be more than quoted at the top of this listing.  The following prices for posting one LP in a mailer with a cardboard stiffener are from the Royal Mail's website.

Value up to £45 - postage will be £3.70 for Second Class Signed For

Value between £45 and £100 - postage will be £6.95 for Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1 pm

INTERNATIONAL: I send items by Airsure if it is available, which means that international postage can be very expensive.  I will only post to countries that are listed on the Royal Mail's website as providing a signed for service at point of delivery.

If you are happy to pay the Airsure postage, I am happy to post to the following countries for the price shown in red:
