Description

Fairport Convention Unhalfbricking 1st Pressing Island 'Block' Label Excellent.
This is the original 1969 first pressing ILPS-9102. Released on pink Island ''block'' logo label design. and large font text ERNEST J DAY & CO LTD on rear sleeve.
Label has a box with 'MCPS' inside on Side A only (Side B has the box empty). Cover is fully laminated and with text about stereo/mono compatibility on back (upper right corner).
Matrix / Runout (Side A runout, stamped. Variant 2): ILPS 9102 A//1. Matrix / Runout (Side B runout, stamped. Variant 2): ILPS 9102 B//2.
Vinyl appears to be near mint. Inner sleeve good but some enigmatic writing top left one side (see photo). Cover is in excellent condition and the spine is also very good although 'Fairport Convention' and 'Island' are partly unreadable.
Please note: I have inherited a vinyl collection from someone who - like me - was an audiophile and treated his vinyl with care and respect. So, whilst I have not played this album (I don't currently have access to a deck) I am confident that it will have been looked after. Any problems I will accept returns (buyer pays postage) for full refund.
