Description
This is a 1st pressing of ‘Unhalfbricking’ (ILPS 9102), the 3rd album by Fairport Convention; with the vinyl graded NM and the sleeve an EX due to minor wear on the bottom edge. The album will be posted sleeved, it's been removed to aid photos.
Marking a transition away from American influences and towards more British folk aspects, changes in the line-up of the group mark this album as a turning point for the group.
It features several (then) unreleased Bob Dylan songs and marked the appearance of Sandy Denny as a songwriter with ‘Who Knows Where The Time Goes’ now regarded as a classic; with the traditional song ‘A Sailor’s Life’ now widely regarded as pivotal to the development of English Folk Rock music in that period.
